Hailstorm looked at his paw's as they crushed the snow underhis paws. The handsome tom looked up and saw the place where the battle had taken place. His heart skipped a beat. The bengal tom fell in his paws, fainting.
Slowly a handsome bengal tom fell over as a cry from a pretty brown tabby she-cat filled the air. A she-cat in RiverClan raised her paw to kill Hailpaw. Maplepaw dashed across the stream, knocking the RiverClanner over. "No..." Mumbled Hailpaw, a cat trumbled over him making him bite his tounge. Blood droped onto the wet ground. Rain splashed his clear blue eyes gentley. Tears rolled down his cheeks. Maplepaw laid lifeless on the ground, blood on her neck. "NO!!!" He screamed and tried to get up but, failed. The tom raked his claws on the ground. "NO!!!"
HailStorm woke up his eyes filled with fear. 'Never again shall I love.' He had the a promise to himself.

Shiverkit was hidden in the bushes. His wide golden eyes were on Hailstorm. He twitched his body a bit. He didn't trust this cat; nor did he any. He remembered the slavering jaws of the dogs as they tore apart his mother and father, making him fatally wounded; emotionally.

Titaniumclaw was partolling the area. She dashed into the clearing, almost crashing into Hailstorm. She picked her slim figure up and nodded to Hailstorm, sitting down in a tense crouch.
[glow=red,2,300]"Hey, Hailstorm, do you smell anything. I've just chased the same scent for the last hour. I can't find what's in the territory. Care to help sniff it out with me? It's strong nearby and it's just kicking me in the nose whenever I breathe in."[/glow]She looked over and smiled. She seemed very hyper, probobly full of adrenillen. She swiveled her ears for the slightest sound.

Aquastar padded absent-mindedly to the stream. She seemed to not hear nor see the two warriors. Her thoughts were elsewhere. She wondered how she was going to take on being leader with as much enthusiasm and skill as Wildstar had done. She shivered slightly, then bent and took a drink. She sat up and suddenly seemed to realize that there were others there. She smiled apologetically. Most of her Clan knew she'd taken the previous leader's death pretty hard. Hello. What seems to be the problem? She could tell that there was a problem, but not in a bad sort of way, just a puzzling sort of problem.

HailStorm looked at the two she-cat's. "She's looken' for something, and I'm thinkin about Maplepaw nothing to new for me. Sure, TitaniumClaw I'll go huntin' with you," he mewed his clear eyes filled with sorrow of his lost loves death.

She snapped her head around from Aquastar to Hailstrom.
[glow=red,2,300]"Huntin'! I've been chasing around the same scent for the past hour. There's just something that's like getting a claw to the nose. It's some kind of jackrabbit that's been running off at anyhing. It's huge!"[/glow]She started to speculate how much it would feed and she pounced from her spot, landing in the water with a splash. Paddling towards the shore, she heaved herself on land.
[glow=red,2,300]"Well, at least I got something done."[/glow]She said, drying herself off. she sat up and looked over at the two.
[glow=red,2,300]"Who want's to hunt now I have 'cooled down'?"[/glow]

Aquastar froze in place, a scent wafting to her nose as the slight breeze carried a scent into her nose before it went the other direction. She padded toward some bushes. The scent was slightly stronger. She pushed some bushes back and saw Shiverkit. Her eyes widened slightly. Little kit, what are you doing here?

The ShadowClan kit squealed and fell to the ground, shivering, heart beating like a rabbit's. In place of the leader's face, there was a huge dog, eyes glinting with bloodlust, jaws slavering. He shrieked and covered his face with white paws, crying something incomprehensible.

Aquastar meowed softly, licking the kit's head gently. Shush, little one. I'm not going to hurt you. Where are your parents? She gently licked the kit, trying to calm it so it wouldn't scare away any of the prey, and so that she could understand it.

Shiverkit continued to quiver, gray tabby fur puffed. He looked up at Aquastar with huge blue eyes, and stammered, "M-mom and d-d-dad are d-dead... d-d-d-dog...."

Shiverkit continued to shudder, his eyes wide with fear. "Dogs-won't-go-away!" he screeches in fear, thrashing around, gray pelt puffed. He felt the dog's hot breath on him, teeth threatening to tear him apart.

Aquastar purred gently, licking the kit's head. Now, little one. We're not dogs, nor will we ever be. There will not be dogs on our territory as long as I have any say about it either. She loved kits, yet how would they take care of the little kit? They had no queens, but maybe they could raise the kit on herbs.

Shiverkit tucked his white paws over his face in fear. He wanted his mother and father again, not a foster one. He shuddred, not from cold, but from fear.
