A silver tom, Snakepaw, trotted along the forest. He paused and licked his paw.

Padding up the young tortie kit sat down in the snow, still angry at Adderpaw. "He thinks he's so special.." she muttered under her breath, completely frusterated. "How can he be so selfish?" Then, looking up and noticing the silver tom, she jumped. "Woah...who are you? man..I've really gotta stop talking to myself.."

"Autumnkit.." she said proudly, as though her name meant more to her than others knew. "And Adderpaw. he says kits are dumb and naive, and that we don't know when to stop. But i think it's him that's dumb and naive. He judges cats before he knows then, and he could be missing out on valuable allies in the future.

"Not much.." she said sitting down in the snow. Her white paws blended well with the snow except for the black tips on her toes, and her pretty tortoiseshell coat clashed violently with the snowy forest. "Wann head back to camp?" she asked him. "We could maybe get something to eat and rest a while..." she suggested lightly.
