Eveningpaw smiled at her older brother. I hope that Momma is my mentor someday! She said softly to her brother. Her eyes held an admiration.

Hope Sunbeam isn't a dope, he muttered to himself so that even those close aroudn him could barely hear. With that, the beige apprentice stood up, eyes scanning the clearing for his new mentor so, as was traditional, he could touch noses with her.

Wolfpaw looked at the ground and sighed again. He walked away, tail drooping in the dust as he thought to himself,"Still no new mentor. I miss Blackmist....." He thought of his old mentor who had just recently died. He walked to the apprentices den and soon fell asleep.

(ooc- Wingy, Sunbeam is a him)
Sunbeam padded over to Biegepaw and touched noses with him. He nodded, and his eyes showed not happiness nor annoyance at getting this apprentice. When would you like to train?

Gorgepaw padded over to his sister. "Enough talk with him," he growled in a low voice and pushed Rosepaw away. "He's not our kind... not like me and you, we're too different."
"He's just like us, Gorgey. We're al the same on the inside," she mewed having one last glance at Swrilingpaw. Why? Why must you be so rude?"
"I'm pretecting you from them, sister," he mewed simpely.

OOC//. I said 'her' and I'm pretty sure the pronoun 'her' is talking about the female gender. IC//. The tom's nose pressed against Sunbeam's for a few moments before he drew away. 'Spose so, but I'm further along then most apprentices are when you recieve a new one, y'know. I've had a mentor before. So, where to? Beigepaw couldn't help but brag about his achievements but his willngness to learn more wasn't expressed greatly.

Maybe, Beigepaw suggested loftily, he doesn't want his sister being intoxicated with your odd mind. StarClan only knows no one would want that He tilted his head, smirk appearing among his features. Got an answer to that, toots? he inquired, voice filled with arrogant triumph.

A smile crept across her maw. She walked up to her apprentice. Touching noses with him. When would you liek to start training? she asked the young tom.

Turning to Beigepaw, Swirlingpaw answered, Yes, as a matter of fact, I do... toots. The tom then leaped at Beigepaw, his claws extended, ready to rip fur.
( He, thats what you get. He wasn't even talking to Beige.. he shouldn't have interfeared.)

Sunbeam stepped between them, growling. We don't need any fighting amongst ourselves. He knew that the apprentices might hurt him on accident, but it didn't matter.
Moonshine also stepped forward. She padded to Biegepaw and Swirlingpaw. Swirlingpaw, you'll stop where you are if you ever want to become a warrior. I'll ask Gracestar to put you back in the nursery if you don't act like an apprentice rather than a kit. She looked at Biegepaw. And you. You should know better, Biegepaw. Her eyes darkened. She figured that Biegepaw would talk back, and she almost knew Swirlingpaw would. And neither would like her much for a while, but it had to be done.

Padding up, the young calico apprentice sat away from the crowd. The feeling that she still did not belong hung in the back of her mind. And these newly apprenticed cats seemed to already have friends and enemies amongst themselves.

Pebblekit looked around Her name was not called. She sighed; would she not become an apprentice?
Iceheart nodded and licked the young kit's head and padded off, black fur shining in the sunlight.

Junglefeather nodded, she was being ignored. She stalked off torwards the warriors den, where she would catch up on some sleep.
Thrushflower just watched as the kits were aprenticed. Pale green orbs glwing with pride. There were many apprentices. But, not many warriors. This worrided her greatly.
