Sunbeam padded onto the field and sat down, waiting for his apprentice. Anger boiled within him. How dare those little kits call his sister a bad deputy. He wanted to claw their noses off to make them learn respect, but he wouldn't. It wouldn't help anyway. And with the way he'd seen Moonshine reacting afterwards, he could tell that she felt like she'd been wrong to do anything.

Junglefeather had nothing better to do. Her apprentice ignored her request to train. Her paws carried her to the Flower fileds. Her heart raced. Scenting the air, she scented Sunbeam. Soon her icy blue eyes spotted him. Hello Sunbeam!she mewed. Bounding over to him.

Sunbeam smiled at Junglefeather's approach. Hello! I am waiting for my apprentice to come and train with me, although I think I need to reprimand him a bit. Oh, on a different subject...How are you?

She smiled brightly. I should bring my apprentice here too, and I;m doign great, how about you? she asked Sunbeam. She couldn't help but admire him.

Sunbeam grinned. I'm a bit angry, but otherwise, I'm good. You should bring your apprentice. He swished his tail.

A young tom with fur the hue of beige trotted in. His green eyes darted around and he spotted his mentor. Hey! he called. Watcha gonna teach me today, Sunbeam-y? he inquired casually.

Sunbeam looked at his apprentice, and he hid a sudden unreasonable anger. Biegepaw, if you would please not make nicknames for me. He co.cked his head to the side. And second, what happened at the meeting?

The tom took a step back mewing, Woah there, Sunbeam! Don't lose your cool. I'm sorry, truly I am. And back at the meeting? He shrugged before continuing, Well, I'm not exactly sure...maybe it was just me. He gave another shrug and a slight, mischevious smile.

The tom's expression was of pure confusion. I'm not angry, I just don't care for nicknames until I'm closer to a cat. He stared into the apprentice's eyes. You know what happened back at camp. I'd like to know why you provoked the other apprentice.

Okay, you got me, He mewed, shaking his head a bit before continuing innocently, I really wasn't trying to taunt them. I was only teasing, but I dunno. They just over reacted to it! I never meant to do anything to harm them or cause them to hurt inside! He let out a soft sigh as if to say everything was his fault and he was very upset by it. I'm sorry. Of course, everything he had said was a lie, but no one would know that! He was an excellent actor and the master of lying, even though he didn't distort the truth often. The tom's green eyes fell to the ground and he shuffled his paws, seemingly upset by what had happened earlier. And Sunbeam, you did seem mad, earlier ya know. With that, the apprentice fell silent, waiting.
OOC//. And when I say no one would know, I honestly mean no one which includes Sunbeam. ^.^

(ooc-will he ever be cured of his pride? lol, will he ever be found out....?)
Sunbeam nodded slowly. It's all right. Just next time, try to keep yourself from bad-mouthing my sister or the others. If we have a deal there, I'll let this go. He wanted this tom to understand that anything bad said about his sister that wasn't true would not be allowed.

OOC//. 1. Never 2. Possably, but unlikely. ^.^ My lil' pimp. IC//. A smile slowly lit upon his face. Really? he inquired, voice full of excitement, I'm forgiven?Oh, this is wonderful! he twirled around out of 'pure' joy, then sat back down. Who's your sister? the young tom asked, his head tilting into a full, curious, c0ak.

Sunbeam took a deep breath. Moonshine, the deputy. He slowly got to his feet and began to look across the field.

Oh, Beigepaw said. I don't remember saying anything to her, but well...maybe I did. Not very good with all the cat's names and their appreances. Perhaps I might get better though? The beige-furred tom stood up as well.

Sunbeam nodded. Yes, you will. Now, it's time to train. Please try to get into a mouse crouch. He was ready to correct any wrong posture, but figured the apprentice would know a mouse crouch by now.

Okay, then! Beigepaw mewed, dropping into the crouch he had worked on with his first mentor. It was as good as any cat could get it, and probably would improve in time, though for now it would work wonders. He stood erect again and inquired proudly of the warrior beside him, And was that good enough?

Just good? the apprentice asked incrediously, It was better then good, and you know it! But ah well, The tom's mouth clamped shut and he dropped into the crouch Sunbeam had asked of him: the bird one. Now, this crouch was, to Beigepaw at least, the hardest of all, but still the young beige-furred cat had it down fairly well. This too, would improve in time, but what else could they ask for? A time machine? Absolutly not, even if Beigepaw knew what a time machine was, though it seemed like something that tessered time. The tom stood erect again and inquired of how his crouch had impressed Sunbeam once more.

Sunbeam nodded slowly. He wasn't too horribly impressed, but he wasn't disappointed either. The tom apprentice knew his stuff, but he'd also had time to learn it before. Good. He heard Biegepaw's words, but decided to ignore them.
